As an intangible heritage of humanity,protection of exorcise dance has a great historical and practical significance,but its status is worrisome.Beginning with the status of exorcise dance,this article discusses the necessary of protecting it by IP rights and the insufficiency which exists in IP rights protection.In view of the flaw of exorcism dance which exists in the IP rights protection,the article comes up with countermeasures from the trademark law,the copyright law,the patent law,the domain name and so on.The author wants to find a good solution to solve the problem which exists in the protection of exorcism dance from the intellectual property rights law to make a positive contribution for its exploration and economic use to enable the exorcism dance which is called " living fossil of dance" to maintain and develop.
