On the basis of introduction of working principle of vacuum circuit breaker and analysis of its test content, this paper selects a reasonable test method and designs a networked characteristics test equipment for main vacuum circuit breaker in electric locomotive. Also, It explains the hardware and software design of the test system in detail.
