Starting with an importance of streets and buildings in front of streets, compared the street-spaces of Nanchang city to other famous cities in the world, this paper pointed out a problem in street-construction of Nanchang city lack of concerning about the buildings in front of streets, deeply expounded the building-types in front of streets, then analyzed two cases of Nanchang city. Aiming at a direction of city-constructions in mid-west China, this paper also put forward a certain advices on the design and construction of buildings in front of streets.
