The theory of text cohesion and coherence is the chief research in the area of text linguistics.Besides the ordinary approaches of the coherence,iconicity plays an important role in the text coherence.This paper discusses mainly on iconicity in speech sound and sentence structure.And it exposes its function in the text cohesion and coherence.
