Abstract:In order to study the dynamical response of heavy trucks colliding with piers at different speeds, the nonlinear dynamic analysis is carried out by using the finite element software LS-DYNA.Considering the influence of superstructure on collision process,the superstructure is simulated by mass block.Dongfeng Tianlong heavy truck as a prototype to establish a finite element model. The mass is 30 t, 40 t, 50 t and speeds are 50 km / h, 80 km / h and 110 km / h, respectively, to simulate the collision process,the influence of impact velocity and impact mass on pier displacement and collision force is obtained.The law of energy variation with time is analyzed to verify the rationality of the finite element model.The peak value of collision force is compared with the relevant literature and codes, and the results show that the current anti-collision design code is difficult to meet the requirement of bridge collision prevention in practical engineering.
