Environmental vibration induced by high-speed trains is a hot issue in the railway traffic engineering.In this paper,four fundamental methods developed for analyzing this problem,i.e.analytical wavenumber-frequency domain approach,numerical approach,and experimental and empirical approach,are introduced.The relevant literatures during the past decade are separated into these three categories and reviewed accordingly.The problems are presented for further investigation in the future.
