Lawrence wrote several collections of poems all his life.His special concern for image"death"in The Last Poems leaves us more impression.This paper aims at interpreting the inner relations between "death" and religion,between "death" and social reality from three aspects of Language,image and intention in order to master the thoughts and intentions of Lawrence's creation of the poems.
