This paper firstly explores some features of English self-access learning and analyzes the existing problems.Then the paper introduces the meta-cognitive theory and meta-cognitive strategy,which is dominant in the whole studying strategies.Finally it suggests that teachers should give training of meta-cognitive strategies to the students so as to improve their learning ability.An example of strategy training is given to show its methods and procedure.
