In this paper,the mechanical properties of transforming beam in frame-supported shear wall subjected to vertical load,wind load and seismic action are analyzed.The result indicates that the height of transforming beam may have an extraordinary influence on mechanical properties of the beam.When the cross-section height of the beam may not exceed 1/7 of its net span,the internal force of the beam may be smaller,and the deflection of the beam and lateral displacement of supporting frame can satisfy the archit...
