The fingerprint image pre-processing is conducted by different ways according to different reasons.It firstly applies Wiener filtering to the degraded images,and then make an enhancement pretreatment to the recovered images.It focuses on comparison and analysis of the key methods of the Gabor and anisotropic diffusion,and also conducts a comparison research in the parameter selection used in these methods.
