How Long Is the Peer Review Process

1. Journal of East China Jiaotong University is a bimonthly journal, published at the end of every even-numbered month, with approximately 15 articles per issue.

2. The internal preliminary review takes about one week. The external peer review usually takes around one month, though this may vary slightly depending on the manuscript.

3. Authors are advised to log into the submission system regularly after submission and check for email notifications regarding manuscript status. If email contact fails, the editorial office will follow up by phone. Please do not reject calls starting with the area code “0791-8704”.

4. Important Note: During the peer review process, simultaneous submission to multiple journals is strictly prohibited. If discovered, the review process will be terminated and the manuscript will be rejected.
