The Editorial Board of Journal of East China Jiaotong University serves as the academic advisory body for the journal’s editorial and publishing activities. It provides guidance, supervision, and consultation on all aspects of journal editing and publication. The Board members are appointed by the University and consist of experts with specialized knowledge across various disciplines. The Editorial Board comprises seven consultants, one editor-in-chief, twelve deputy editors-in-chief, and several members. Each term lasts four years, with the possibility of reappointment. A plenary meeting of the Editorial Board is convened once every one to two years; additional meetings may be held as required.
Main Responsibilities:
1.To implement the principles, policies, and regulations of the Party and the State concerning editing and publishing.
2.To review and approve the journal’s editorial policies, publishing mission, and the editorial office’s publishing plans.
3.To regularly inspect and guide the journal’s work.
4.To convene regular Editorial Board meetings, hear reports from the editorial office, deliberate on and resolve issues related to editing and publishing raised by the editorial office and Board members, and review and evaluate the quality of editing, typesetting, printing, and distribution.
5.The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall work of the Editorial Board, while the Deputy Editors-in-Chief assist the Editor-in-Chief in carrying out these duties.
