The editorial board of the Journal of East China Jiao Tong University is responsible for the editorial and publishing work of the journal, playing the role of guiding, supervising, and consulting. The editorial board members are composed of specialists from various disciplines. including 6 consultants, 2 honorary editors-in-chief, 1 editor-in-chief, 12 deputy editors-in-chief, and dozens of members. The term of office of the editorial board is 4 years. Members can be reappointed for consecutive terms. The plenary meeting of the editorial board is held every 1-2 years, and can be convened at any time if needed.
Main responsibilities:
1. Implement national guidelines, policies, and regulations related to editing and publishing.
2. Review the editorial guidelines and the aim of journal; review the editorial and publishing plans of the editorial office.
3. Inspect and guide the daily work of the journal.
4. Routinely hold editorial meetings, review work reports from the editorial office, solve editorial and publishing issues raised by the editorial office and editorial board members, review and evaluate issues related to editorial layout, printing quality, publication and distribution of the journal.
5. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall work of the Editorial Board, with assistance from Deputy Editors-in-Chief.
